My honest opinion for every trader:

While everyone is max bullish and max leveraged to witness an ETF approval and expecting the mother of all pumps, Iam the messenger to warn those who believe that wallstreet is here to pump our bags.

First: While everyone was bearish and calling for lower lows last year I was one of the very few that told you to buy #Bitcoin at the mother of all discounts, right there at 16-18k, some did, others ignored and FOMO bought months later exactly as I promised the doubters back then. The funny thing: The same doubters are now max bullish, back then they used the SEC as excuse to dump their bags, that was their reason why they expected 10-12k, now the same people use the SEC as excuse to pump their bags. Funny, isn’t it ?

Second: In two days (10th January) the SEC will announce if they either approve or reject the ARK ETF, so where is the problem here ? The media, experts and retails are sure that #Bitcoin ETF will be approved on Wednesday, all of them are max leveraged and positioned without keeping in mind that Wallstreet was never the friend of retail

Third: I really doubt that the ETF approval will happen this Wednesday, I expect a correction very soon. Even if the ETF gets approved, we can witness a correction. Remember that halving has not occurred yet, and the super bull cycle of Bitcoin usually starts after halving and not before.

Fourth and the most important point:

As mentioned earlier Iam holding spot 7 figure numbers as long term investments. It wouldn’t be clever to sell these when market allows me to short, especially when Iam expecting approvals in March and a new ATH by the end of year. I rather prefer to hold all my spot holdings and enter short at the same time. So what does it mean, and why is it important for every trader to understand this strategy ? At one point your are hedging your spot portfolio. Let’s say you hold $100.000 in spot, but you expect a dump in the coming weeks, so why is it needed to sell when you can just short ? So market drops 10% as example, your spot portfolio decreases to $90.000, but at the same time your short trade gives you a profit of approximately $10.000 (Hedge), this ends up in your portfolio being balanced in times of extreme volatility, or days such as 10th January, during days where big moves can be expected. Should market pump 10% instead, your short will be down - $10.000 but your spot portfolio up $10.000 which ends up with the same amount.

This is exactly what Iam going to do during this event, and I can assure you that Iam not turning bearish here, being realistic and expecting corrections just to move higher and higher next is just healthy for the market and I would love to see these corrections, but I know that most of people, especially here on Twitter can’t even handle a small 10% correction, best example was the recent dump from 45k towards 41k. This is the reality, the reality that most of traders turned to be blind gamblers, stay in your casino, Iam here taking things serious. This is not financial advice, Iam sharing my deep thoughts with you.
