First day of my extended mat leave, never imagined I would start it at 25 weeks. Such a shock to be told yesterday was my last day, feeling a bit lost today.
Strange the difference two years makes! Today I am 18 weeks pregnant, two years we discovered what we thought was the solution to our problem had failed. I was heartbroken and today I am excited but absolutely terrified.
As much as I love the nhs, I am fed up with them, 8.18 in the morning 82 calls to the gp since 8am to tell me there are no appointments left today try again tomorrow ๐ก
Whilst you're enjoying your bank holiday weekend, please spare a thought for our wonderful staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who are working hard and caring for our patients
