“Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed” (Lk 5:16). Jesus spent regular time with God, praying and listening. If Jesus, the Son of God, the sinless Savior of humankind, thought to clear his calendar to pray, wouldn’t we be wise to do the same? https://t.co/wWmSvalKsc
God is absolutely trustworthy, but it’s okay if it takes time to find your way to that truth.
Life can be hard and confusing sometimes. Be patient with yourself and one another. I promise, God is patient and kind and able to handle your questions.
He loves you ... more than you know.
Seeking answers is understandable. But it’s so much more comforting to invite God’s peace to just fill in the gaps of all the unknowns.
It’s when we decide to stop the relentless grasping for unanswerable questions that our hands are free to take hold of what He has for us next.
Let’s ask God today to help us keep our hearts soft and humble in the midst of our waiting. And let’s remember that God is working things out. His plans are good. And He can still be trusted.
God wants to heal us and help us move forward. He will fill in the gaps left by people. Through His promises, we can be reassured of all those things we wish others would have said or done. His love for us is deep, unwavering, and certain.
