BREAKING: The NMC has proposed increasing the annual registration fee for nursing and midwifery staff from £120 to £143 - a 19% rise - having frozen it for 10 years.

It's launched a 12-week public consultation on the plans, which will close in January.

@RCNNRN I did the same amount of hours as a TNAnow doing band 5 work (IVs). Work would pay me a band 5 but university want me to do a further lot of practice hours as they won’t take into account apprenticeship hours!
