This takes the total number of additional paramedics since being elected to 60, with that number set to grow to at least 99 by mid-next year.
The legislation for the new Women’s and Children’s Hospital has just passed the Parliament at 11:20pm after over 10 hours of debate.
The law allows for the construction of a bigger hospital on a bigger site for long term health needs.
