Children are not born able to understand and manage their emotions – these are things that they have to learn. Recognising children’s cues, being responsive and re-filling their emotional cup helps them feel safe and secure. (📷: upbility) #PSED#SEL

In April we'll be exploring speech sound development. This is a complex process over time, with speech sounds fine-tuned the more children tune into them in words they hear. Children can be up to 7 years of age and beyond before all their speech sounds are in place. #sltfv
