@jobrackley I did the quest course in midlands and it was specifically paed and adult LD! It didn’t cover Mental health though!

There have been > 800 safety incidents reported since April 2008 whereby the sponge head has come off either because it has become loose or because the resident/patient has bitten down on the sponge

@RCSLT @dellamoney Growing up I had a lisp which didn’t impact on me day to day. I wanted to be a teacher and my mum referred me to SLT at 15 as the children in class might have been unkind when I was training! I had 4 sessions of therapy and decided I wanted to be a SLT instead! #SLTappreciation

@pollydSLT @CharlieG_SLT I did my NQP year and stayed up in Aberdeenshire for 18 months (9 years ago) before moving back south! Would highly recommend it! A great community team! And I made excellent friends @MhairiElizabeth and great experiences!
