A message worth sharing. Gratitude has changed my life. When I had 3,000 followers on Twitter, my boyfriend at the time told me that I was unworthy of having a following like that. I cried for three hours and felt crushed. Then something happened, I started showing up as if I was unworthy of 3,000 followers. I started tweeting from my wounds instead of scars and the tweets were self-serving.

Someone messaged me and told me they were offended by one of my tweets. I stopped growing and was losing followers. I scrolled through my timeline and noticed that my voice changed. Before my ex told me I was unworthy, I was showing up grateful. That’s when I realized my authentic voice was one of gratitude.

That changed everything for me. I went back to who I was. I saw myself as worthy. I focused on my own opinion of who I am and not on the criticism. I hope you find your voice. I hope you embrace gratitude. I hope you focus on your own opinion of yourself and drown out the noise. Don’t let anyone change you.

I am grateful for you. Thanks for being here, and thanks for reading this. My wish for you is that you see all there is to be grateful for and it begins to expand. You deserve happiness and you are worthy of what you dream of. Keep working hard. Keep writing. Keep being you 💜 grateful for you! And now my Twitter following has grown far beyond those 3k follower and I am grateful
