The Ravenbrook Landfill Solar project achieved commercial operation this month back in 2013. Chris Kollmer, SVP, recalled a challenge with this project. “We were prohibited from using driven posts so we built tables for the panels then used concrete pavers to hold them in place”.

Gemma hosted its first Farmers Market and what a success it has been! We wanted to provide our employees with free, local fresh fruit and vegetables to bring home. Many of our employees grow their own produce and brought in home grown foods to share with others.

The #KingsMountainEnergyCentre is a 475MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle power plant in Cleveland County, North Carolina that features a Mitsubishi M501GAC gas turbine, a Vogt Power HRSG, and a Toshiba steam turbine generator.

The 200MW Bishop Hill Wind Energy Center, completed in 2012, consists of 99, GE 1.6 MW XLE and 34, GE 1.5 MW XLE Wind Turbine Gen. Of the 99, GE 1.6 MW XLE 100m towers, 49 are equipped with 100m rotors – making Bishop Hill the first project in the US to utilize such technology.
