(7/8) @Amy_Baird_ is Learning Co-ordinator for History & STEAM @Discovery_Mus @TWAMmuseums Amy manages a dedicated under 5βs programme as EYFS specialist & is Makaton trained. She has several case studies published advocating varied project work during her 8 years in the sector.
(6/8) Ruth Chittenden is Community Engagement Officer @TheStoryDurham Ruthβs role is varied; she engages people of all ages and backgrounds and takes a lead in learning activity and event programming. Sheβs worked in the sector for 9 years & was previously a History Subject Lead.
(5/8) David Silk is Learning Manager @NewcastleCastle and manages the education offer as well as co-ordinating the team of volunteers & events offer. David also works as a freelance storyteller around the region and is an author of a book of local folk tales retold for children.
(4/8) Kirsty Robinson is Learning Co-ordinator @SegedunumFort@StephensonRail She started her career as a Secondary History teacher before deciding to work in Museum Education. Previous roles include Arbeia Roman Fort, Beamish Museum, Discovery Museum & Darlington Railway Museum.
(3/8) Joanne McKenna works with schools at Northumberland National Park. Her previous roles have included working with schools and families at Discovery Museum in Newcastle, Life Interactive World, Gateshead Libraries and many moons ago as a primary school teacher.
