@UnityCodeMonkey What is needed in programming - is the ability of splitting larger problems into smaller ones, that are easier to tackle. That's a skill you learn in math class, which is why there is such a large overlap in those two skills.
@UnityCodeMonkey Agreed - set yourself some deadlines/milestones. If you don't hit one on time - analyze why. And maybe next time put a bit less on your plate, until you're happy with your pace, and are consistently hitting the deadlines/milestones.
@IGN Twitter's main costs should be reliability engineers and moderation. From software development side, Twitter is not particularly complicated piece of code - could be easily written and maintained by a dedicated team of 20-30 engineers (including client teams).
