For this to happen, we first need a base of at least 300 million upper–middle-class consumers who can actually buy these products. Building that kind of market is like strengthening the nation’s “brain and muscle” so startups can grow at the scale we see in the USA and China.
Right now, a large portion of India’s population is still too poor to support that level of consumer demand.
Gautam Buddha said - Life is suffering
Thanks @byadavbjp ji for reducing our suffering by 10 years. With this air pollution, you’ve mercifully shortened it for us. 🙏

Whoa, this is a welcome move. It should be implemented across India until people develop civic sense.
This should also extend to traffic violations. It will definitely save lives.

Just like the Digital Arrest awareness messages before calls, @PMOIndia should start a campaign with one simple number like 1064 to report corruption.
While other states vigilance departments are often corrupt themselves, Odisha is doing a great job though.
A bullet train between Hyderabad and Bangalore could have saved many IT employees' lives.
The price Indians pay for incompetent, unaccountable bureaucrats and politicians.
Om Shanti!
I’m looking for volunteers to help moderate https://t.co/bzuWGiW4SH for each state. I already have a few people managing some states.
My goal is to have a dedicated team for every state so we can quickly handle submissions and create new gems.
If you’re interested, please DM me here or on our Discord server. Thank you!
This is unacceptable in a functioning democracy. They can’t issue contempt notices for a small argument like this.
This is on you @narendramodi. Get rid of this ASAP @sanjeevsanyal
Open Source Sunday!
We have many feature requests open on github for https://t.co/Nn42Ewkr1D, including personalizing the homepage so users can view gems from their state or city.
Non-developers can contribute by adding gem profiles.

More advocates and people need to raise their voices against the judiciary like this.
If the majority of people aren't getting justice, then what's the point of having this vacation loving, corrupt, nepotistic judiciary?
Once it collapses, the people of India will have their own judiciary, appointed through Parliament.
Recently, we saw a traffic cop abusing a biker. Body cameras would hardly cost less than 5k when ordered in bulk.
All public servants should only be able to take action against citizens when there's a body camera on @AmitShah

This should be open to the public, @AmitShah.
All other countries already have something like this, like sex offender registries and public police records if someone is arrested, etc.
Make this open source, just like https://t.co/Nn42EwjTc5. Let everyone contribute.
One official for paperwork, one private agent for collecting bribes. Double employment, double development!
What a visionary plan, sir ji! Forgive me for not knowing your plans 🫡

It’s been only a few days since I made https://t.co/bzuWGiW4SH open source - 73 stars, 14 forks, and many closed pull requests from the community. I really appreciate all who gave feedback and suggestions, over 1,000 ideas on what to add.
Together, we'll build this as a community.
Please join our Discord server to discuss pull requests and code reviews and new features.

The solution to a problem is not more babus and departments, this will enable more bribes and red tape.
Remove job security and terminate any officer for non-performance. Sit back and enjoy while India becomes vishwa guru.
Someone commented under the Department of Health Karnataka that officers are collecting bribes for KPME licenses for clinics.
@dineshgrao will you take action against those corrupt officials?

Transfer is not a punishment!
We will not forget, Even if no action from government.
Please send emails to these officers asking for resignation.
