Calls to UK Domestic Abuse Helplines have more than doubled since the lockdown. Victims should know that if they are in danger, they can dial 999, then press 55 and remain silent. Police will know that the caller is in danger and cannot speak. Spread this wide.

I clapped my heart out for the NHS and I thought of the doctors on the picket lines crying out for less hours, I thought of my dear friend walking a mile to get to her car in the dark after an 18 hour shift so she doesn't have to pay the tariff at the hospital.
