@Sam_Afo09@FVR5hve Tell me, in what way is anything Toph did there logical or consistent with the fighting style she displayed throughout the original series?
@Sam_Afo09@FVR5hve Yeah, you're right. Sorry.
But come on... jumping into the air against an airbender? What exactly was she trying to do? What did she think would happen? And did you also forget that she literally shouted his name while he was up in the air?
@SlimeyPrinter@KyoutarosDad I mean, she did undergo some development in Season 3. The writers were at least trying to do something... even though they basically repeated her Season 1 arc in Season 2.
But yeah... then Season 4 happened.
@SlimeyPrinter@KyoutarosDad I mean,she did.
But the question is was it donewell?
You can write a character as reckless, then have them act like a disciplined military veteran with twenty years of experience in the next episode.
But was that transition dramatically convincing? Was it structurally consistent?
@EzePhilip01 That's a strong argument, but it doesn't necessarily prove that it's the stronger.
It simply means it has an advantage. However, that advantage alone doesn't guarantee victory. Sure, an airbender can evade attacks by staying above the battlefield, but they won't be able to
His criticism is surprisingly good.
However,I disagree with him on the character designs.i think they removed genuinely cultural designs in favor of cheap fan-service.
There are also many other issues he ignored, such as ruining Sokka's character and the poor action choreography
The only thing worse than the bots are the people who write walls of text and mistake them for depth, originality, or intelligence.
He actually thinks anime is the benchmark for good storytelling. Hh
[Película] Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (2026)
@luct64 Haha, what a hypocrite.
Nothing you wrote points to the meaning you're trying to claim now.even if you were talking specifically about animation or style, it's the same thing.
You refuse to own the way you write, then blame everyone else for not understanding it. That's cute
