11. Unfortunately, the abused are like drug addicts. They are addicted to the hook (incentive to stay). Junkies literally. Junkie to credit alerts, annual holidays abroad, illusions of affection.

10. Sadly the solution or way out for anyone that is abused starts with acknowledging any “truth” no matter how little. And then follow the crumbs of “truth” irrespective of the personal loss (incentive to stay)

3. How do you rehabilitate the abused? Because until he/she is healed, they will defend their abuser.

2. The abused doesn’t know what a non-toxic relationship looks like. Even in a new relationship, they demand toxicity.

1. This is usually because the abused (Nigerians) psyche has been broken. The abused has no self esteem or sense of personal purpose.
