@AerLingus hello I have been trying to get reimbursed for a broken (now completely unusable) suitcase for over a month. The chat function does not work, and each time I call, I am put on hold for over an hour. Please assist!
@GuillaumeRozier Bonjour, savez-vous quand cette mesure sera disponible pour les étrangers en France ? Actuellement, il faut une carte d'identité française pour pouvoir accéder à France Identité.
@WhiteHouseOPE46 Hello, I am an American journalist with The Local France. Could you please verify if your office put out this survey for Americans living abroad? https://t.co/LRTBCQOH85
Thank you.
The reality is that dozens of third-place left-wing/ centrist candidates in districts that *could have* gone to the far-right chose to step down.
Here are some of the headlines from earlier this week about the ‘front républicain’ being a thing of the past. Clearly not.
These results didn’t happen in a vacuum. Historic voter participation + ‘front républicain’ (efforts by the left-wing and center to avoid splitting the vote in districts where a far-right candidate could have won)
Currently sitting in the bar-resto carriage of a French train going from Lyon to Paris. Slow internet. Everyone gathered around one phone watching the results come in.
Huge shock in French parliamentary election. Far-right RN looks like it will only take 115-155 seats, much lower than expected.

Spoke with experts @emile_chabal@Mij_Europe@_mlorimer and @RimSarah about the core ideology of France's far-right Rassemblement National party. Here's what they had to say👇

This timely film is their debut as directors. Extremely proud of my friends and former classmates for such an impressive accomplishment just two years after graduating from @sciencespoEDJ
Curious about the far-right surge in France, especially amongst young people? You should watch the documentary 'Extrême droite, la nouvelle garde' by @BertiniRenee and Arthur Didier Deren.

Early results tend to be reliable, but full count will be available tomorrow (Monday). Here's how the French produce such accurate early election results👇

Preliminary results from the first round of France's parliamentary election show far-right Rassemblement National (RN) party in the lead with 34.5 percent of the votes.
The coalition of left-wing parties (Nouveau Front Populaire) projected to come in second with 28.1 percent of the vote. Meanwhile, Macron's centrist group Ensemble trails with 20.3 percent.
