@BlackAutistics Use ‘Dragon’, it’s assistive technology where you speak your thoughts and they are automatically converted into a typed document.

I’m a DSA Needs Assessor and students have to provide medical evidence in order to be assessed and receive reasonable adjustments through the DSA.

@BlackAutistics Yes Colleges should have a similar service. Speak to the Disability Team at the College to ask what support they have if you have autism.

@BlackAutistics You could get a laptop, printer/scanner, a paper and ink allowance, a 1-2-1 Tutor, a taxi to University & assistive technology to help you to plan and write your work, to read articles and to note-take. It’s funded too so all you need to pay £200 towards the cost of the laptop.
