This is not mine. This is yours. This is ours.
From all the players, staff and everyone involved in the club, to you guys who supported us every single day of the season.
Grateful for your love and support ❤️
You know what, I'm still backing Ruben.
And before you attack me, I've got no problem at all with people wanting him replaced, there are plenty of reasons why you'd want that and I won't begrudge anyone having that view point.
But, for me, watching this interview with Owen Hargreaves, listening to Ruben talk, I like him, I can't lie just to please the twitter faithful and conform, I like him and I really want it to click for him.
He sees everything we see but he also see's training, he's also in the dressing room and he has tons more context than we do. It was really interesting listening to his comments around tactics, leaders, "Mavericks" and Maguire / Bruno. He does get it.
▶️ Is he out of his depth a little? yeah, for sure, he basically admits it in this interview.
▶️ Is his current PL record abysmal? also yes.
▶️ Do we have the players to execute his system perfectly - no, but the underlying stats are much much better and showing progress.
▶️ Is he Stubborn - yes. But so am I at 40 years old. It has its pro's and con's.
But..
Even taking all that into consideration, I won't be swayed by the stupid graphics Sky Sports put out that are doing the rounds, they are completely taken out of context and posted solely for rage bait.
They do NOT take into account the CLUB hired him mid-season, with moral on the floor and asked him to completely change the tactics, system and way of playing. They hired him and they told him they'd back him to do so knowing he's a young manager in a new league and we dont have the squad to do it.
They also do NOT take into account is the fact we practically forfeited our last 8 PL games to try and win the Europa league (which was absolutly the right thing to do), we played our strongest team in the Europa League and our weakest team in the PL.
It almost paid off.
Yes is meant we dropped plenty of points in the PL but if the plan had worked, not a single person would be moaning about our points total and we'd all be watching CL tonight instead.
The underlying stats are improving, the team and the new signings & all new attack has barely played a handful of games together but there has been plenty of signs of improvement. If you cant see them, you are blind, indenial or only focusing on the results, not the performances. Yeah we've had a few stinkers, but so has every team.
All things considered:
🔴 We had the toughest set of opening fixtures out of all the top half clubs this season - Fact
🔴 We are 1 point behind Chelsea
🔴 We are 3 points behind City
🔴 We are ahead of Newcastle, Villa and Forest - supposed rivals for a European spot.
We are still very much in contention for those European spots and I'm hoping he can grab some good results in the next few games and build some momentum 🙏
I'm also not stupid and know full well if we lose the next few, he will leave or be sacked. Hes probably got 3-5 games to save his job and i really really hope he pulls it off. In the end it will all come down to the players, do they back him and fight for him, or do they down tools, give up and get a new manager in... we will find out shortly.
Sacking him now, for me, makes no sense. Sure speak to some potential replacements in the background, but give Ruben 5 games to prove he can get a tune out of this group. The fact you bought him in mid-season, didn't sign him an experienced GK, ST or CM you, as the board owe it to him to give him more time.
Peace out 🤞

One game a week for the current Manchester United just means a week-long civil war within United discourse, with no mid-week distraction, for the whole season
If Garnacho played for Brighton today, how much do you think Chelsea will pay for him? £30mn? £50mn? £70mn? £130mn?
1. 21 years old
2. 21 G/A in a crap team that changed managers midseason.
3. A versatile foward who can play on the LW or RW
4. Durable. Always available.
5. Carabao/FAC winner + 3 finals in the last 3 years
6. PL proven/EL + CL experience/Argentina international
7. Low wages. 3 years left on his contract.
So why do @ChelseaFC feel emboldened to set the price of £30mn for Garnacho?
It's because it's @ManUtd. They're weak negotiators. Bad sellers. Chelsea pulled a wool over our eyes last summer on Sancho with a £25mn obligation to buy that is optional. They're trying to do the same now.
@OmarBerrada need to put his foot down here. For the good of the club. He should actually do like Brentford did to us. Add £10mn on the valuation with every passing day Chelsea don't do the deal.
It's not like Chelsea need Garnacho. What they're trying to do here is buy him as cheap as possible. Use him for 2 years as a rotational option. Then sell him for £80 to £100mn. That's pure profit to them. We should be getting that fee right now. Or keep him at Carrington. It's as simple as that.
We need to change the narrative once and for all that we're bad sellers.
Or take £30mn + Andrey Santos. I'd do that deal by breakfast tomorrow.

Consistent with its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine.
I will make this solemn announcement before the United Nations General Assembly this coming September.
The urgent priority today is to end the war in Gaza and to bring relief to the civilian population.
Peace is possible.
We need an immediate ceasefire, the release of all hostages, and massive humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza. We must also ensure the demilitarization of Hamas, secure and rebuild Gaza. And finally, we must build the State of Palestine, guarantee its viability, and ensure that by accepting its demilitarization and fully recognizing Israel, it contributes to the security of all in the region.
There is no alternative.
The French people want peace in the Middle East. It is our responsibility — as French citizens, alongside Israelis, Palestinians, and our European and international partners — to prove that peace is possible.
In light of the commitments made to me by the President of the Palestinian Authority, I have written to him to express my determination to move forward.
Trust, clarity, and resolve.
We will achieve peace.
