📣 It's the last day of the Security Reimagined Forum, hosted in partnership with @whatthewomensay.

We're ready for another day of learning, connecting, and collective action for more inclusive peace and security. #WPS #NAP1325

🌎 Thank you Inge Kauer from @CARE Nederland, for highlighting at the @whatthewomensay Women, Peace, Security Forum how INGOs can bridge the gap between local action and policy. Local women-led dispute resolution deserves greater visibility and should inform policy upwards. #WPS

Closing remarks from @pd_hof: "The current security situation paints a grim picture, conflicts are deadlier, more complex, and last longer. Civil space is shrinking. We are not talking about #WomenPeaceSecurity enough. Keeping #WPS on the agenda is an urgent task."

@RubyKholifah from the Asian Muslim Action Network, Indonesia: "When we do partnership, with governments, donors or cilvil society, we want all of us empowering each other. And for that you need trust. Sometimes that means allowing room for failure."

[WO=MEN, Dutch Gender Platform @genderplatform]

"The #WomenPeaceSecurity agenda should not only be something we project onto countries such as Mali or Afghanistan. We must also bring these lessons home and ask ourselves what kind of relationship we want between our security services and our society."

[WO=MEN, Dutch Gender Platform @genderplatform]

Koen Davidse, Director General for Policy of the Ministry of Defense at the @whatthewomensay and #Dutch
@NAP1325 event: "I knew of the importance of the NAP1325 but when I served in Mali I understood how crucial NAP1325 is in conflict related regions."

"We need to remain connected to society and ensure that our institutions better reflect the societies they serve, especially in these times, when it comes to women's representation and participation. We are making progress, but we are not doing enough yet."
