I am so very tired of this denigration of a concern for Parliament as “getting stuff done for politicians.”
Parliament has a very defined role, and it would be nice if MPs could actually be bothered to do their gods damned jobs for a change.

But they didn’t “get stuff done for workers.” Singh didn’t secure sick leave – it was an ongoing conversation that remains with the provinces because it’s their jurisdiction.
Meanwhile, MPs have abandoned any scrutiny of $150 billion in spending in the Estimates. That matters.
