Ex serving soldier turned gambling addict. Amassed over £100,000 worth of debt all to easily. Affordability checks must be introduced to prevent this happening.
After 15 long months I have now finally received two out of court settlements from two separate Gambling Operators in this past week. These operators acted irresponsibly and illicitly in breaching their licence conditions whilst taking advantage of a known vulnerable customer.
@GamRegGB you produced this two years ago. Nobody else. YOU. It is being breached in abundance STILL! I have made you aware of numerous instances by the same culprits. Still nothing doing. @MansionBet@mrgreencasino and multiple others.....
@MansionBet please provide me with your UK address for service of legal documents. I have asked your delightful customer service team however they have refused to provide me with it. Side note - you're legally obliged to provide me with this.
It's Friday night quiz time!! Prizes for the winner to be provided for by @MansionBet Question 1: Which is the only industry in the world anywhere ever whereby you can get treated unfairly and illegally and when you complain you simply get ignored?
Having discovered the fraudulent practices that @MansionBet employ I checked out their reviews on trust pilot and they are alarmingly consistent. This treatment isn't unique, it's extremely frequent. How is this allowed to happen @GamRegGB
@MansionBet lie to a customer for 4 days telling him that they haven't actioned his withdrawal due to a "backlog". Turns out this was a lie and that 'security checks' are being carried out. Where have we heard that one before? This level of delinquency is embarrassing @GamRegGB
3 DM's received in less than an hour. It seems Mansionbet have a lot to answer for and clearly have a contempt for rules snd regs. @GamRegGB you might want to check your in tray.
So it seems @MansionBet are also using the ubiquitous practice of placing withdrawals on hold on fully verified accounts after a customer enjoys some rare winnings. If anyone else has experienced similar with this company please DM me.
@Rule_ette_Out Will DM you. Would take a pretty significant 'work around' to bypass what should be extremely robust systems to detect previously self excluded customers. Ignore any jargon about unprincipled t's and c's. Will take a long winded small claims effort but shouldn't be an issue.

@FairandOpen And if £10,000 worth of deposits in one month from a customer that you know nothing about doesn’t ‘trigger’ anything it certainly begs the question as to what would!
Have recently helped someone with an RG complaint against @Coral who allowed this cusomer -that was quite clearly suffering with a gambling disorder-to gamble in excess of £12,000 in less than 2 months. The complaint was extensive and requested answers to serious questions
weeks with no questions asked whatsoever. But guess what... they consider themselves to be an “ethical betting and gaming operator with customer care at the forefront of everything they do” 🤮 why is not mandatory for all online operators to have a set deposit limit? @GamRegGB
It has been confirmed to me today that Leo Vegas Sport and Betway (that I know of) now impose a monthly deposit limit of £500 on a customers account until further affordability is proven. @Coral on the other hand are allowing customers to lose in excess of £10,000 in less than 4
Anyone else heard of ‘some’ well known operators imposing automatic £500 monthly deposit restrictions on customer accounts until further affordability can be established? If this is true, it’s certainly a step in right direction.

The 2005 Gambling Act is outdated and the promised review is a chance to fix a broken system – it must not be a whitewash.

@TalkTalk Here to help? That’s not the message I’ve had from TalkTalk over the past few days. I’ve been told that you don’t even have a complaints team because of Covid. How very helpful! Seems to me like you are using Covid as an excuse for your terrible customer service.
