@rBillSimmonsPod Have to read between the lines with their reviews of directors they love. If they talk a lot about how it’s ambitious but not perfect, you know it will be the worst thing you’ve ever seen.
@LinkofSunshine Middle class people of all stripes hate to admit they’re middle class so of course four of these are just euphemisms for “middle class”
I think it’s probably a universal experience for LGBT people to feel like they’re “behind” in some way, but it’s perfectly normal for people to figure out the different parts of their lives at different speeds. It’s not a big deal!
I’ve know a couple of gay men who are still not out in their 30’s and this just isn’t true. They just grew up very religious in small towns. Got every part of their life together before figuring out this one. No shame in that at all and they’re certainly not “damaged.”
Unfortunately gay men who come out of the closet over the age of like 25 are psychologically damaged and there’s little hope for them psychologically and/or spiritually
People aren’t ready to admit this yet, but Heat is mid. It has some good peaks but the bloat is unreal. It would be an all time great stupid 90 minute movie yet somehow it’s nearly 3 hours.
