These ideas continue to permeate through even the most modern secular societies.
We celebrate female sexuality until it affects our own self worth.
We celebrate a "free woman" until we date her and expect her to drop most of her sexuality under the expectation of monogomy.
Brendan Haywood says Dylan Harper must start next year:
“If Mitch Johnson wants to keep this locker room next year.. you’re going to have to sit De’Aaron Fox down and say: ‘Listen, you’re a major part of what we do, but you come off the bench this year. Harper, Castle, Wemby, that’s our new Big 3. And if you’re not accepting of this role, it’s going to be hard for you, but this is what we have to do.’
You can’t try to hold Dylan Harper back no more. It just cost you a chip. And he didn’t like this role but he sucked it up because the team was winning.
Everybody and they Mama, from Dylan Harper’s family, to the Haywood family, to the Bucher family, everybody that’s an NBA fan knows that the kid is special.
You can’t hold him back no more. You got to take the training wheels off and that combo has to start as soon as De’Aaron Fox gets back into town.”

Wemby on seeing Gregg Popovich after winning the WCF:
"I saw Pop right away when we landed, and the emotion was really something I haven't felt in a while ... Coming back down from this is a challenge and it's not done yet. We still need to really come back down to earth and realize that we haven't done the hardest yet, the job isn't done at all."
Ramona Shelburne (@ramonashelburne) speaks about Wembanyama's training with the Shaolin monks:
"I was just like amazed by the training he did. I spoke to the monk that he trained with over in China and his name is Master Yan'An, I guess they called him Shifu, that's the word for a Shaolin warrior monk.
And he was saying the hardest part for Victor was the meditation. Because can you imagine sitting for 90 minutes silently when you're 7'5" cross-legged, like super uncomfortable..
Sometimes it was a standing meditation, sometime it was sitting, but it was 90 minutes. He said he would tell how long he would sit by taking a piece of incense and some of it were the long ones and some of it were the short ones, and whenever they would burn all the way down..
I'm like what 20 year old does this. Like who does this. But it was about training his mind to be present."
