For years demanding accountability for the JNF's nefarious activities was met with denials and allegations of antisemitism. Now the organization is admitting to some of what was clear all along. The JNF has long been engaged in the disposession of Palestinians. It is neither new or something they just discovered. It is reputational damage control but an import admission in itself.
I will not vote for another dime for Trump's war.
This war is making us less safe. It's taken 13 American lives. Killed thousands of civilians. And is costing billions in taxpayer dollars.
The best way to protect our troops, save lives, & end this war is to cut off funding.
Participating in the political process is not the criticism. It’s the support of genocide, ethnic cleaning, and apartheid through the use of dark money PACs that people object to.
BREAKING: The Israeli military says it is dropping charges against five soldiers who were accused of sexually abusing a Palestinian detainee. https://t.co/bGpXfGwEev

Israel has fired cluster munitions in Lebanon. Now Iran is using them against Israel. No one should use these indiscriminate weapons. https://t.co/ijxAchfnGj
@mattyglesias A good reminder. I wonder what the Gulf leaders are all thinking now. Perhaps that their money did not buy as much as they thought it did.
@RepOgles If a Democrat said that about Christians, he’d be pilloried from both sides of the aisle, and rightly so. So spare me the fake victimhood and actually read the Bible.
Watching Trump try to explain attacking Iran shows (once again) just how unserious and callous he and the Republican Party are. American servicemen are dead. Israeli citizens are dead. Iranians including over one hundred school girls are dead. More people are dying by the minute.
@mattyglesias Isn’t this about the scope of the response rather than the need for a response?
And also, it will never not rankle me when people (including the original poster) assume everything was wonderful in Gaza pre 10/7.
There’s a lot of myopia to go around here.
At the Board of Peace, organizers play a video showcasing plans for Gaza where they envision it being an "Abrahamic gateway," connected to trade and markets from India to Europe. No talk, of course, of political rights and Palestinian self-determination.
Hamas grew in strength thanks to Netanyahu’s long efforts to prop it up with Qatari money so the Palestinian leadership would be divided between Hamas and the PA, and Netanyahu could say he had "no unified Palestinian peace partner to negotiate with." https://t.co/pE7J90k7ZG
This year, federal debt will exceed the size of our economy.
We need to fix entitlements, spend less, and grow more.
Every politician should have to answer for this in the next election.
@NancyMace Fundamentally unserious. Why deduct any personal interest expense at all? Keep rates low with fewer deductions. This helps those financing personal (non-business) watercraft over everyone else.
Israel has become so toxic in the United States that the pro-Israel lobby, AIPAC, opposed a candidate whom it considered insufficiently fawning toward Israel not by attacking his views on Israel but by pretending that he was soft on ICE. https://t.co/RpuJhmfSYv
@George_A_Callas It’s a reasonable theory, but don’t you think there’s a bipartisan and general electoral tilt towards populist economic policy? I personally don’t approve of all the proposed government intervention, but it seems to cross the spectrum.
