This morning I read a FB thread on a local community group about library policy. It’s amazing how quickly people progress into personal attack when even politely challenged on their ideas and opinions. Watching irrational hatred for each other metastasize in real time is a trip.

People scrambling to disseminate cherry-picked, limited information to prove a heinous actor isn’t a part of their tribe is one of the most glaring problems we have.

The dislike I have for divisionism knows no bounds.

In my lifetime it seems like our society has embraced caring more about embracing a person exhibiting harmful behavior over the victims of that person’s actions. No matter your history or composition, if you harm others it’s a choice.
