Computer scientist Connor Leahy said it out loud: We understand barely 3% of the AI we already built.
Not as a metaphor.
As the actual number.
The CEO of Anthropic said it.
Leahy thinks even that is optimistic.
This is not ChatGPT.
This is not a chatbot.
Normal software is written line by line.
AI is grown.
What comes out the other side is not code.
It’s billions of numbers.
You run them.
Incredible things happen.
Nobody can tell you why.
Then comes the part nobody is supposed to say: They are not large language models anymore.
They are agents.
Then swarms.
Hundreds of thousands of them.
Running at once.
Tasked with regulating each other.
We already can’t read what they’re doing internally.
And we’re putting them in charge of each other anyway.
We already built machines we do not understand… and we are stacking them into swarms.
Claude: build and ship in a few ........
Users : Wait! Is that what we wanted?
Human iteration: Build with user in mind.
Claude: You need more credits to get the advanced features to your build.

The public was stunned to learn that Twiga had locked itself into an eye-watering $3 million (over KES 450 million) multi-year enterprise contract for Google Cloud hosting services.
The lawsuit claimed Twiga owed hundreds of thousands of dollars ($261,000 to $450,000) in unpaid cloud bills and delayed fees. When an agritech company distributing cabbages and bananas to informal retailers accumulates software infrastructure bills that rivals a global financial institute, it signals an unhinged burn rate.
Twiga’s ultimate descent into administration was a direct consequence of trying to run a simple distribution engine while carrying the balance sheet and software overhead of a Silicon Valley behemoth.

@ahmednasirlaw@WilliamsRuto The dead horse theory? What fact finding us required apart fron what is there in the audits and such raw data shared by this young guy
President Paul Kagame attended the AFCON final last night in Morocco but he actually didn't just go to watch the game. Paul Kagame took along with him the 30 y/o minister of sports Hon. Rwego Ngarambe. Kagame kept showing the young minister everything around the stadium.
Unlike Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania that submitted a joint bid for 2027 AFCON, Rwanda has submitted her own bid for 2029 or 2035 AFCON. With 3 international stadia already in place and more underway, Paul Kagame hopes Rwanda beats Ethiopia and Senegal who are in for the race.
Leadership is never hard.

We really need to talk about our car import taxes, because at this point it’s daylight robbery dressed up as revenue collection. Take a simple example: a 2018 Honda Fit in Japan goes for around 460k- 480k. Land it in Kenya, and the same car sells for roughly 1.45–1.6M for standard used imports, or up to 1.93M for low mileage or hybrid units. Why? Because the taxes slapped on imported cars are not just highthey’re punitive:
•Import Duty: 25%
•Excise Duty: 20%
•VAT: 16%
•RDL + IDF
•Plus inspection, port fees, and clearing costs.
By the time all these layers of taxation settle, you end up paying more in taxes than the actual value of the car. A car shouldn’t cost more in taxes than it cost to manufacture. A country where owning a basic car requires taking a loan plus a prayer is not progressing, it’s failing its people. This system needs fixing.
