It was so great seeing all the 8th graders come today for their promotion certificates and yearbooks. Good luck in high school. Thank you to all the staff members who were able to make it
Yesterday we celebrated those students who demonstrate the importance of caring for others. In this holiday season we generally care more than other times of the year. We need to extend this beyond the new year. These kids will lead the charge.
Final choir concert of the year. Kids were fantastic. Couldn’t ask for a better group of student or a better set of choir teachers. Our first group were those sticky 6th graders.
Spent a beautiful spring morning listing to our Fiddle Club and celebrating those students who demonstrate good citizenship. These kids are the superheroes of our school who have a strong sense of justice and the desire to serve and protect others.
Yesterday was a great day. I got a chance to start my day with a group of kids that are awesome. These kids were recognized by our staff for being caring. A clear reminder to not just care about others during the holidays, but care all year long. Merry Christmas.
Today at GMSS we celebrated those students who exemplify
the quality of respect. These kids know that holding yourself accountable
for being respectful is much more powerful than being held accountable by
others. They are excellent role models for our students.
The students and families at GMSS have such compassionate hearts. They donated 4,597 items to our Red Ribbon Week food drive sponsored by Leo’s Club and Student Council. Special thanks to our 8th grade teams for challenging each other. #Gamechanger304@genevableau@GMSSfacs
