βI realize now that power you canβt control isnβt power at all.β - A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor, @hankgreen.
Man, that rings particularly true these days.
@notthemessenger Looking forward to it! It's next on my "dog walking" playlist for the days that I don't have a new ep of one of my regulars to listen to.
@notthemessenger It was so good. I could listen to the two of them talk together all day.
Also, didn't realize he did one with Hank. Have to go find that now, too.
I talked to John Green (@sportswithjohn) about life on the internet, writing, doomerism, faith, and why he still has hope for humanity.

@dustychipura Very traditional answer (even as an ADHD person)... someone to keep my calendar(s) straight. Managing multiple things that need attention plus a social life plus home life etc etc is exhausting and I often mess up and over book.
@HowtoADHD Also, I can relate on the grief. I have had both some major situational/family grief in my 20s that made everything worse and then my dad passed away 5 years ago. I never would have thought of it as a factor until recently, but it truly is a type of co-existing condition of sorts
@HowtoADHD I can finally address it now, am finally on medication that works for me with a supportive medical team and partner, and I am learning to live well with it and figure out what works for me. Everything else got in the way, and ADHD made it worse. It was so hard to focus on both.
me: we should do that thing right now
π§ : hmm, how about _not_ right now
me: not right now?
π§ : yeah - βnot right nowβ is my favorite time to do things
