Ooh - I nearly forgot - one last plug for my gig in Sheffield at the weekend - would be lovely to see some TradSongTues faces there!

This is very exciting @RoyalTraditions . We're really looking forward to singing some songs in this lovely pub @RoyalHotel8 ...and maybe a giant Yorkshire pudding and gravy as well! Plus a tunes session beforehand and a song session afterwards - heaven.
Good morning all - it's been a while!
Just to let you know that we have a rare northern gig. We're playing @RoyalTraditions folk club near Sheffield on 25th February. It would be lovely to see you if you can make it. Tickets are quite limited and are here https://t.co/y7WM91bx5w
@fliceverett I lent a leather belt my mum gave me to a friend who never returned it and then moved abroad - still think about it. And a perfect big soft woolly scarf that I left in an Indian restaurant in Newcastle 3 years ago. So sad.
This will be a special one next week. Come and share anything from Paul’s beloved Hampshire, anything that reminds you of him or your favourite music of his.
@goodhonestmusic This is just the saddest news. I only worked with him a couple of times but he was brilliant and funny and generous and had one of the best smiles. He and his music will be greatly missed. xx

I'm going to start us off with this one from @JimmyASidG and @LadyMaisery
'Cruel winter cuts through like a reaper,
The old year lies withered and slain,
Like Barleycorn who rose from the grave,
The New Year will rise up again.'
