A great example of colorism is to believe I can be compared to anyone. I’m the youngest talk show host ever. The first Black woman to star in her own show on Nickelodeon, & the youngest & first Black Cinderella on broadway. I’m an incomparable talent. Baby, THIS, is Keke Palmer.
The Turner program was honestly such a great experience and I'm so happy to have met such wonderful individuals in this field! Thank you again to @AnimBehSociety for this amazing opportunity!! #ABS2022#ABSTurner And a big thanks to the other Turners who were so supportive 💙
@mdshawkey I think it isn't common as in bees or wasps, just from what we know about ant behavior maybe? Just in my research I've realized how dependent the brood is on all of the workers to care for them. If any one does know the name of a completely solitary ant species I'd love to know!!
I'm so grateful to be in Costa Rica attending the annual ABS conference as a Turner awardee! Getting the chance to not only meet, but also learn from so many individuals in this field is so exciting! Looking forward to the days ahead 😄 #ABSTurner#ABS2022
Congratulations #ABS2022#ABSTurner recipient Genhsy Monzon (@genhsy) who is currently @UF working as a lab technician in the Urban Entomology Lab. In addition to assisting with rearing #insects, Genhsy is conducting their own project on feeding #ant larvae in vitro (1/2)
Working on something in the lab and like usual with entomology you got to get inventive for your projects, so I ended up deciding I'll just make a 3D model myself and 3D print it 😂 #entomology#3Dprinting#3DModel#gettingcreative
