오늘 학교 (교수아파트 포함) 정전이라길래 전기없이 살아보기 한번 해보려고 맘먹고 집에 있었는데 정전 20분 만에 다시 불 들어옴. 모든 전자기기가 켜지는 소리 재미있었다.

어쩌구 저쩌구로 바빠서 성적 마감일을 하루 앞두고 기말 비디오 채점중인데 너무 재밌다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 줄 수 있으면 감독상, 촬영상, 주연상, 조연상, 분장상, 시각효과상 다 주고 싶음 다음에는 엔딩크레딧 넣으라고 하고 진짜 아카데믹 어워드를 줘볼까

어떤 교수님들이랑 같이 일하다보면 대학교 때 조별과제 하던 거 생각난다.. 근데 이제 멤버 전원이 과수석인.. 그러고보니 이것도 과제고 저것도 과제군..

어쩌다가 나의 유니스트 잡톡, 심층면접, 본부면접 관련 파일을 찾아보게 됐는데 그러다가 정확히 3년 전에 1차 서류심사 통과 연락을 받았음을 알게되었다. 그 후 면접이 땋 땋 땋 잡혔고 어어어 하다가 정신을 차려보니 한국에 와있었지. 이게 3년 전 이라니!

조교들 힘들까봐 호기롭게 중간고사 채점은 내가 하겠다! 라고 했다가 스스로 병목이 되어 점수 업로드가 지금까지 미루어지게 되고.. (아마도) 보다 못한 조교 1이 교수님 도와드릴까요 (...) 라고 물어봐주어서 오늘 밤에 조교랑 같이 채점 끝내기로 했다

Rejected author 중에서 카이 온 사람, 그리고 그 중에서 저 배지를 무심히 붙일 수 있는 사람 과연 얼마나 있을지 궁금하다 ㅎㅎ 비록 난 눈물이 앞을 가려서 (3개 붙여야 됨) 못붙이지만,, 저 배지 특히 저거 하나만 붙인 사람 있으면 가서 사실 나도야 라고 말해줘야지

그러고보니 올해는 내가 박사과정, HCI 연구를 시작한지 10년 째 되는 해다! CHI 출장 준비하다가 하와이에 언제 갔었지 사진을 넘겨보다보니 나의 첫 HCI 학회였던 UIST 2014 에서 찍은 데모 사진이 한가득,, 그때는 내가 10년 후 하와이에서 열리는 CHI 2024 데모 체어 할 줄 몰랐지,,
