@EricTopol Vitamin D takes the prize for much ado about nothing…amount of time, money, human capital spent by researchers and by people on this unregulated over the counter product is astonishing.
Excited to launch the inaugural Mayo Clinic Nephrogenetics course.
Amazing energy, outstanding discussions, and an incredible group of national and international experts coming together to advance precision nephrology and genetics in clinical practice.
This is just the beginning.

We initially reported Semaphorin 3B (SEMA3B) as a target antigen in pediatric membranous nephropathy (MN)
However, we are also seeing SEMA3B in adult MN.
Unique features of adult SEMA3B MN: Most patients are middle aged adult females (86%), almost half had a history of pregnancy/miscarriage.
I wonder if the pediatric SEMA3B MN and adult female/pregnancy associated SEMA3B MN are somehow related.

@GlassockJ@GrahamAbra Longing for a time when we don’t have to go through prior authorization on individual drugs but rather bundle them (as done by onc) - deliver right care in time sensitive manner.
Three years ago today, Dawn Bulgarella and I were appointed by the UA System Board of Trustees. Grateful to serve alongside Dawn and honored to help advance the @uabmedicine and @UABHeersink shared mission and vision - looking forward to the work ahead.
