Over to moon to say I’m going to be a Genomics trainee on the NHS Scientist Training Programme. I have adored every role in Genomics I’ve had since I’ve graduated. I’m so excited for the next 3 years 🧬
We are recruiting!!
Would you like to join the committee for 2024/25? We are looking for London-based trainees in any specialty or year. The role involves 4-5 hours of commitment monthly, including attending events with the national school and the trainee network
@Eurostar Why are the trains not available for booking on the afternoon of 26th August from Amsterdam to London? Are they sold out or not available to buy yet? If so, when will they become available?
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain leadership experience and fulfil CPD and competencies, including the professional practice competency ‘offering peer support’ 🤝

Not forgetting Bioinformatics - I’m convinced they’re wizards. This rotation was a great experience of collaborative and innovative working in the NHS. In Sept, I’m looking forward to being back in my home specialty and getting involved with some service work 😊
Early starts out of the house but excited to start my cancer genomics rotation at the royal marsden in Sutton today. Last rotation of the first year of the Genomics STP and it’s gone so quickly!
Every rotation has been so interesting. A highlight for me was passing the karyotyping test which I soon learnt is only the beginning of that journey! Also sitting in and talking to patients in my Genomic Counselling rotation was an experience that will stay with me
