My thoughts on Palestinian resistance.
In this part of the episode, Australian activist Robert Martin affirms that resisting the Israeli occupation is a legitimate and necessary right.
"How can we ask them to stay silent while their rights are being violated? When their homes are raided and their children are killed, they must have the right to resist."
He emphasizes that it is illogical to demand their retreat or silence in the face of such injustice.
"Many speak of values and principles, yet when it comes to Palestine, they ignore the right to resist. No one can justify occupation or oppression."

Why I joined the Freedom Flotilla.
“Robert Martin is sailing to Gaza aboard the 'Handala'. He reminds us that breaking Israel's illegal siege on Gaza is the most important and urgent act that needs to be undertaken today.
For Robert, joining the flotilla is a statement to the Palestinian people that they have not been forgotten as they endure a genocide while under brutal occupation - in spite of the consenting and complicit silence of the media and political establishments. For Robert, joining the flotilla is also a testament to posterity, and to future generations, that there were people who chose to act. "The world has woken up.
Things are changing and I cannot wait for the day that there is a free Palestine."
Keep 'Handala' safe. End Israel's Siege.”

“It is time to end Israel's impunity and to insist on the same standards of equality, justice and respect for international law that we demand of other states.”
