Twelve years later, on July 9, 2026, Pakistan's Supreme Court acquitted the last three men who had been sentenced to death for it.

The written judgment released on August 13 admitted the crime was shocking and brutal while ruling the evidence insufficient.

Not one person is now serving time for burning a pregnant Christian woman and her husband alive.
If a crowd of six hundred people does something in broad daylight and the courts still find nobody responsible, what does justice actually mean for Christians in Pakistan?

अब 27 अगस्त को उसकी कोर्ट में सुनवाई होनी है। किक्की सिंह दिव्यांग हैं और CJI ने स्वयं इसका कोई ऑफेंस नहीं लिया पर एक रैंडम वकील इस से आहत हो चुका है। @narendramodi बताएँ कि इस बवासीर का क्या इलाज है जो आपने तैयार कर दिया है।

केस प्रूव हो नहीं पाते, अधिकांश दुर्भावना से ग्रस्त होते हैं और सवर्ण समाज इसका शिकार लगातार हो रहा है। फिर आप कहते हैं कि आप हिंदुत्ववादी हैं! आपकी हर नीति ऐसी आ रही है जो समाज को एक जातिवादी घृणा की व्यवस्था में बदल रही है।

इस एक्ट में संशोधन की आवश्यकता है और केस फ़र्ज़ी निकलने पर दूसरे पक्ष को दंड और जुरमाना दोनों ही करने की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए। यह एक व्यवसाय बन चुका है।

मैं बहुत लंबी बात नहीं कहता..

मैं बस अपने गाँव की एक कहानी कहता हूँ..

मेरे गाँव में भी जातियाँ थीं..आज भी हैं

कुछ घर पक्के थे, कुछ कच्चे

कुछ घरों में गैस थी, कुछ घरों में लकड़ी जलती थी

कुछ बच्चों के पास पढ़ने के लिए अच्छे साधन थे, कुछ बच्चे अभाव में बड़े हो रहे थे..

और इनमें से बहुत से गरीब परिवार वही थे जिन्हें हम सदियों से वंचित कहते आए हैं..

गरीब

लेकिन राहुल जी मैं एक दूसरा सवाल पूछता हूं।

आपने उस गरीब की जिंदगी बदलने के लिए क्या किया?

क्योंकि मेरे गांव के गरीब को सिर्फ यह जानने में दिलचस्पी नहीं थी कि उसकी जाति कितनी है..

उसे यह जानना था कि..

उसके घर की छत कब पक्की होगी

उसकी बेटी शौच के लिए बाहर कब जाना बंद करेगी

उसके घर में पानी कब आएगा

उसकी पत्नी धुएं में खाना कब बनाना बंद करेगी

उसके पास बीमारी के समय अस्पताल जाने का भरोसा कब आएगा

उसका बैंक खाता कब खुलेगा

और उसके बच्चे को उससे बेहतर जिंदगी कब मिलेगी

फिर 2014 आया..

और यहीं से कहानी बदलनी शुरू हुई।

सरकार ने गरीब से यह पूछना शुरू किया

“तुम्हें क्या चाहिए?”

घर चाहिए?

बनाइए।

पानी चाहिए?

नल पहुंचाइए।

शौचालय चाहिए?

बनाइए।

गैस चाहिए?

कनेक्शन दीजिए।

बैंक खाता नहीं है?

खोलिए।

इलाज के पैसे नहीं हैं?

आयुष्मान दीजिए।

और फिर जो हुआ, वह सिर्फ योजनाओं की सूची नहीं थी..

सरकार गरीब के घर तक पहुंचने लगी

और यह बात समझना बहुत जरूरी है..

क्योंकि अगर सदियों से किसी समुदाय को सबसे ज्यादा deprivation झेलनी पड़ी है, तो उसके लिए welfare सिर्फ welfare नहीं है..

वह social justice है..

जब किसी दलित परिवार को पहली बार अपना पक्का घर मिलता है..

तो वह सिर्फ ईंट और सीमेंट नहीं होता

वह पिछली कई पीढ़ियों की बेबसी पर एक जवाब होता है

जब किसी गरीब मां के घर पहली बार नल आता है

तो वह सिर्फ पानी नहीं होता

उसके जीवन से रोज का एक अपमान और एक मजबूरी कम होती है..

जब उसकी बेटी शौचालय के लिए अंधेरा होने का इंतजार नहीं करती

तो वह सिर्फ sanitation नहीं है

वह dignity है..

और जब कोई गरीब पिता अपने बच्चे को देखकर कहता है "तुम्हें मेरी तरह नहीं जीना पड़ेगा”

तो शायद वही असली सामाजिक न्याय है..

इसलिए मैं राहुल गांधी से कहता हूं

जाति गिनना आसान है

जाति पर भाषण देना भी आसान है

मुश्किल है उस जाति से पैदा हुई गरीबी को तोड़ना

मुश्किल है उस घर तक सरकार पहुंचाना

मुश्किल है उस बच्चे को वह अवसर देना जो उसके पिता को कभी नहीं मिला

और शायद पिछले 12 वर्षों की मोदी की सबसे बड़ी कहानी यही है

पहली बार करोड़ों गरीबों ने सरकार को जाति के नाम से नहीं, अपने दरवाजे पर देखा

मेरे गांव की कहानी छोटी है..

लेकिन शायद यही कहानी आज भारत के करोड़ों गांवों की कहानी है..

जो अंततः हर समीकरण पर भारी पड़ती है..
