I've got a field! We'll be playing at Gameday on Fischer Steele Rd. in Cordova. Turf infield definitely helps!

We don't have an on-campus field (the only team in our conference that doesn't). We play our home games at Buckhead Creek Recreation Complex. They're great folks out there and take care of us the best they can, when we get alot of rain the fields don't drain particularly well.

If anyone knows of a field we can use for games tomorrow and/or Wednesday please let me know. We have 'home' games scheduled the next two days and the outfield in particular at our 'home field' is a little flooded.

@johnvarlas I actually kept college stats for two on my list. When I was a freshman at Shelby State, Mary Boatwright was a sophomore (we actually had a racquetball class together). The other of course is Ashley Shields, who played one season at Southwest before playing in the WNBA.

@ricoviglietti @johnvarlas That's correct. Byears played at DePaul then (I think) about 10 years in the WNBA. I'll never forget that 54 point game. Like I said, she was just a freshman that season. When she got the ball on the block that night it was automatic.

If I get anything wrong for KIPP tonight (scoring, stats, etc) it's because I can't read the numbers. Black jerseys, black numbers w/ orange outline. Mitchell's are a little better (white jerseys/gold numbers). Seen them play a few times so at least I'm familiar with the players.

Just wanted to thank all the coaches, scorekeepers, statisticians, etc that report their scores regardless of whether they win or lose. It's hard enough to keep up with approx 120 boys/girls teams without having to constantly remind folks to send their scores (pics of the book.)

@p_chaun @johnvarlas I was only listing the AP, USA Today, or (old) UPI all-state players from Whitehaven. Although Cam was a good one for sure, I'm not showing him on the all-state team for that year. However, he was a two-time All-Metro pick by The Commercial Appeal!
