Wondering how we get our country back?
This short passage is the best answer that I've ever heard. From the late, great William Pepper in 2006. It has stuck with me since then.
@CatholicJDFren@eagle_patriot21 Weird circles you're a part of. That doesn't fit the GenX archetype, at all.
Still, most FLMs are just carrying out executive strategy, mostly dominated by Boomers. Good FLMs will find ways to create friction in the plans, build exceptions, etc.
@ItIsHoeMath Inner peace is key, extremely difficult when knowing the truth. What you're experiencing isn't uncommon.
Don't be self-defeating. They want you alone, childless, homeless & broken.
Keep learning what we're up against. You can't beat what you don't understand.
Wishing you peace
@FoundingSt2A6A@ChiefEngineerCE Sorry, no hate, I'm just calling out bad boomer behavior. Hoping for improvements, however unlikely that is.
You're the problem. Calling GenX slackers based on some narcissistic analysis make over 40 years ago. Get over yourself.

@ChiefEngineerCE Reply: Another delusional boomer, incapable of self-reflection, who has no moral compass, who lacks decerment to what is proper, and has never recovered from their goyslop pysop programming.
These people don't even realize the utter destruction that they caused to our country.
@ChiefEngineerCE AI vendors are using drug dealer tactics.
It starts cheap to build demand. Vendors are burning billions of capital hoping to recover later. ROI looks OK since the bill hasn't come due.
Vendors don't have any SLA standards, either. They can lower delivered compute to save money.
@mediadimension0@idobadtakes The key issue is the opportunity cost of the extra book work.
Traditional American upbringings raise kids to be well adjusted with diverse real world skills. Kids learn to excel at creative problem solving & team work.
Tons of book smart kids get left in the dust after college.
A Letter from 1989 to 2026
Dear 2026,
We just watched the Berlin Wall come down. The Cold War is over. America won. It can only get better from here.
We are leaving you a country at the height of its power. American labor is protected. Factories are humming. American'd buying power keeps improving. We passed the 1986 amnesty so we wouldn’t have to keep letting in illegals. We are graduating record numbers of STEM students. The world looks to us for leadership and innovation.
We are telling you: Be proud of what we built. Protect the borders. Protect American workers. Don’t let short-term greed ruin what took generations to create.
You are welcome.
Now don’t ruin it.
Best Regards,
USA-1989

A Letter from 2026 to 1990
Dear 1990,
You are standing at a crossroads.
Do not believe the politicians who tell you that flooding the labor market with cheap foreign workers will make us richer. It won’t. It will crush wages, hollow out communities, and break the trust that once made this country work. It is all part of a one world order strategy that enriches politicians along the way to betray you.
Do not believe that another amnesty will solve illegal immigration. It will only encourage more of it. Do not allow the country to become dependent on foreign labor by restricting jobs for Americans or restrictions on American medical school graduates.
Do not trade away American manufacturing for cheap imports and promises of “global growth.” Your children and grandchildren will pay for that mistake with stagnant wages and disappearing family trades. Homes will be one unaffordable.
Protect the value of American labor. Keep the borders secure. Keep the promise you made to the generations that came before you.
We are living with the results of the choices you are about to make.
Please choose better.
USA-2026
@StatisticUrban Boomer who can't handle reality uses childish insults and blocks me so she doesn't have to face facts.

It's like putting fingers in ears.
This platform is insane for allowing such usage patterns.
@StatisticUrban It's subversive policy, and economic warfare that harms the working class.
I've talked to 1000s on this for 25 years, zero support this but Boomers looking to increase their retirement funds.
This isn't organic and natural. It was done on purpose by the Financialists who ensured these and not US Heritage peoples founded companies got funding. I know this for a fact. Having been told to my face in Silicon Valley more than a decade ago that I would never raise funds because I'm white and male. Was told this by one of the leading VC investors right there on Sand Hill Road.
@scottastevenson Largely agree. Some exceptions, like remote cabins, small European apartments or places where the stay is central to the trip.
I nominally avoid due to random hassles, lack of desk support and scavenger hunt like check-ins.
@smilerz91@StatisticUrban The facts are embedded in this reality. You're not interested in them, and have no counter. That's fine.
One day, you'll see. Good luck.
