The proof is in the pudding! We asked one of our #seniors, Miss T, about her favorite part of the our #virtual#program and this is what she shared with us:
"One of my favorite moments was when one of the teens took me on a trip to France by sharing her photos and stories."
Meet Franklin McCain. He’s one of four @ncatsuaggies students who sat down at a whites-only lunch counter in NC. His actions, along with David Richmond, Joseph McNeil, and Ezell Blair Jr., launched a sit-in movement that spread to cities across the nation & led to desegregation.
Meet Thandiwe Abdullah. She helped create the #blacklivesmatter in Schools program, which was adopted by the National Education Association. She says her biggest victory was helping to end random searches in the #losangeles Unified School District.
“#Generativity refers to “making your mark” on the world by caring for others as well as creating & accomplishing things that make the world a better place.”
