Hair shedding is a funny thing and hard to track. Shedding can start 6 to 8 months (give or take) AFTER high stress event, change of other meds, change in diet,hormonal changes and even genetic clock.

What's the reason for wanting to split up now?

I have about 200 patients on Reta.

The majority of them start 1 mg 2x/week.

Low side effects, usually none. Mild heart rate stuff. This continues until about 6 mg/week.

Very effective at lowering inflammation, getting rid of liver fat, lowers blood sugars, lipids and blood pressure.

Gives energy. Helps with arthritis in the knees, independent of weight loss.

Weight loss really starts at 4 mg.

I’ve found the split dose to be the most effective.

Most are on 2 mg 2x/week (so 4 mg/week).
