JUST A REMINDER: The Virginia democrats knew that the state Supreme Court was going to shoot down their redistricting plan. They knew that what they were doing was against the state constitution. We know this because, in March of this year, the Attorney General's office urged the Supreme Court to stay out of it until the votes were cast.
Then they made the language on the ballot completely disengenuous. The question for voters was: "Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections?" They were able to get a slight majority of voters to vote "yes" to that.
Then the Supreme Court shot it down (like they were always going to), so state democrats could cry foul, even though they knew this was going to happen.
Then they send it up to the Supreme Court of the United States, and they unanimously uphold the state court's decision (which democrats also knew would happen)
Then every democrat politician and pundit gets on X and talks about how evil and biased the Supreme Court is. Ro Khanna gets in front of Congress and says we need term limits of 18 years for SCOTUS justices. There are only 3 who are over that threshold, and they all happen to be appointed by republicans) and then increase the number of justices from 9 to 13, allowing democrats to pass whatever legislation they want.
What happened in Virginia was just political theater that the Dems are using as fuel to push for a one-party state that doesn't need to abide by the Constitution or checks and balances.
Social rejects who think it would be easier to destroy all forms of hierarchy altogether than to climb up it...
That's why they are all fat and ugly... they color their hair and get piecrings and tattoos to make it seem like they are doing it on purpose...
They self-diagnose themselves with mental illnesses in an effort to explain their mediocrity while simultaneously demanding that the idea of success be destroyed altogether.
Hierarchies are natural, and no one is forced to the bottom in today's Western society, but they choose to ignore social/economic mobility in an effort to explain their personal failures... that is why they try so hard to put themselves in "oppressed" categories such as LGBTQ or mentally ill...
The fact of the matter is, it has never been easier not to be a dumb, fat, ugly, retard... we have the internet to learn how to make your life better and educate yourself... we have beauty products and plastic surgery to make yourself lovable... we have GLP-1s to make you not fat and ugly...

That's called a barter economy. It becomes untenable once your village's population exceeds twelve and no one can agree on how many chickens a cow is worth and you realize how hard it is to carry a dozen melons to the market to buy some milk.
America redistributes a larger share of its GDP (29.4%) through transfers and taxes than any developed country in the world except France (30.1%).
America is a world leader in socialism, but uses capitalist aesthetics to avoid an identity crisis.
Reasons states wind up on this list (not exaggerating)
1. Not enough abortions
2. Not gay enough
3. "food insecurity"
4. Not enough HR rules
5. Not enough gun laws
6. Not enough therapists
7. Not enough working moms
8. Not enough affirmative action
@ZLink77@_Credible_Hulk@jvgraz@JeanGreige 18.75% of this made-up number is just cigarettes used worldwide...
@grok Since the cigarette was invented, what two nations have smoked the most cigarettes?
We won’t cheer for nobodies death but watching these “Conservative” influencers act like Lindsey Graham was a saint is crazy as hell
The dude was straight up evil and one of the worst politicians
When an edgelord says "I hate niggers," what he means is that he's still going to help the little old black lady in a wheelchair get her groceries from a high shelf without her needing to ask first.
When a Leftist says "We just want free healthcare," what they mean is that they'll publicly cheer if you get murdered in front of your children for mildly disagreeing with Leftism on Facebook.
Wait, you mean well intentioned have unintended consequences????
Remember, progressives don’t believe people should have free will. They believe government policy should dictate our lives.
"Elon Musk is hoarding all the rockets!!! if he would just give us our fair share of rockets, we would all have rockets"
Do you realize how retarded that sounds? He and his employees created the rockets... that's why they own shares of the rocket company. If you take his rockets (or shares of rockets) and sell them to give the money away, he will stop making rockets...
This isn't rocket science
We are a republic...
The majority of the nation is not educated in economics, law, or infrastructure...
The lawmakers are there to amplify and refine the consensus of the people; the refine part is extremely important... because things that sound good in theory are not good in practice.
For example: 82% of Americans support rent control... but rent control has been proven time and time again to make housing worse and more expensive, not the other way around.
Lawmakers know this, but the majority of the nation does not... The lawmaker does not want to lose their job, so they don't push for rent control...
Socialism is a psychological disorder that puts on ideological clothing to hide what it actually is.
At its core is a specific kind of irrational resentment, that is the inability to accept that in a free society, some people will be simply be more, make more, have more.
And instead of competing or accepting that reality, the disordered mind creates the ideology that demands the system be changed so no one is allowed to rise “too high”.
So they would rather live under a system of enforced mediocrity that limits everyone’s freedom including their own than accept a world where some people can create visibly better outcomes.
They can’t help but eliminate the conditions that make other people’s success possible.
And since freedom produces unequal results and that inequality is unbearable to this mindset, then freedom itself must be attacked.
