From here on, all focus moves towards the Open Graph Architecture (OGA), the infrastructure layer powering onchain liquidity, programmability, and scalability.

What’s Happening Right Now
As the next step, the following proposals have been created on Router Chain and are expected to be executed within the next 24 hours:
- Setting inflation to 0 on Router Chain, meaning no new ROUTE will be minted for validator rewards.
- Reducing the undelegation period to 1 day, allowing stakers to exit significantly faster.

You can cast your vote using the links above. Please note that only tokens on Router Chain are eligible for voting.

In addition to these proposals, foundation delegations will be moved back to foundation validators within the next 72 hours to maintain network stability throughout this transition phase.

What This Means for ROUTE Holders
- If you hold unstaked ROUTE on the Router Chain, you should start bridging your tokens to Ethereum via the Nitro App.
- If your tokens are staked, please hold on until the undelegation proposal finishes execution (~24 hrs). After that, you’ll be able to undelegate in just 1 day instead of waiting through the long unbonding period. Post which you can bridge your tokens to Ethereum using the Nitro App.

What This Means for Router Chain Validators
- If foundation tokens have been delegated to your node, they will be undelegated automatically.
- Make sure to claim your validation rewards before the final sunset of Router Chain, planned for the end of October.
- If you operate a validator, please sunset your Router Chain node as part of the transition.

How the Sunset Will Play Out
Looking ahead, the transition unfolds over the next several weeks. By the end of September, users are strongly advised to complete their undelegations. In mid-October, bridging to and from Router Chain will pause as centralized exchanges also halt deposits and withdrawals.

Shortly after, a snapshot of Router Chain balances will be taken and opened up for community review, followed by an airdrop of migrated tokens directly onto Ethereum addresses, with balances automatically reflecting for Metamask and Keplr users. By the end of October, exchanges will fully shift ROUTE deposits and withdrawals to Ethereum, and Router Chain will formally be closed.

Please note: The timelines mentioned above are tentative, as the process depends on multiple factors and may be subject to slight adjustments.

Router Chain gave us the foundation to experiment and prove ideas. Now, OGA allows us to build openly, scale infinitely, and support both retail and institutional users with the infrastructure they need.
