OMG!! I just checked my PLR statement and I got paid!??! (not much, pls) A Grand Place got checked out of the library last year! I honestly forget I wrote it and never imagine that anyone is reading it.
This worries me. In 2020 my #ArtsCouncil-funded children's history and writing project #ColonialCountryside was targeted by the Common Sense Group of MPs and Peers who called it a "political project" and thereby ineligible for public funds. Is any project about colonial history to be automatically deemed political now?

#AlisonLloyd was on the pilot of our @ResonanceFM#ErOutdoors programmes between 2016-2017 that lead to the bbc radio broadcast #TheArtofNowWomenWhoWalk & a great walking, talking, generous sharer of creative throughtful practise. She was a great friend, artist and practitioner
Send all Rest in Punk and Power spirits to our much loved collaborator & friend: academic, walking artist & all round humane witty caring wonder #AlisonLloyd who has passed. Here with @jonorcup supporting junior doctors strike at QMC back in 2016. Love to her beloved family 🙏
Join @HarambeeOBU for the next book club at the Nicole Andrews Library in Brum where we will pay homage to late Brum legend Benjamin Zephaniah. Fri Jan 26, 6pm
Thank you so much to @jonorcup & everyone who came to today’s @HGRG_RGS writing retreat for a wonderful day to really get stuck into writing about #overtherainbow - @HannahWorthen hopefully you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you look at the state of article 😂
Looking to share PhD findings: if anybody knows of any organisations that would be interested in hearing about Black Caribbean rural / town Northants history, let me know. I also want to connect with organisations that work with Black ppl based outside of London + major cities 😁
Excited that I'm going to be delivering my first lecture based on my PhD findings about Caribbean Northants. I'll be talking Black Northampton Youth and the things they achieved via self-help at Matta Fancanta Youth Movement. Really excited and nervous #MattaFancanta
Class remains an overlooked reality for many folks moving through the academy and sadly there isn’t enough conversation or support that addresses how it impacts our everyday living and future prospects.
