BREAKING: Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin throws a wrench into his own party's sham efforts to impeach Joe Biden — says that the president can NOT be impeached for anything that happened before he was elected in 2020.

This has set the rest of MAGA world howling...

During an interview with far-right propaganda outfit Newsmax, Mullin discussed the Republican efforts to investigate Biden's family's business dealings, particularly as relates to his son Hunter.

It should be noted that conservatives still have not found anything to actually accuse Joe Biden of, this entire process is a fishing expedition aimed at smearing him ahead of the 2024 election.

Mullin said that any possible high crime or misdemeanor discovered can only be used for impeachment if it has "committed while he was in office, the current office he holds."

"So what he did as vice president, what he did in between the two [offices] may not be impeachable," said Mullin.

"If they send us a case, make sure it’s convictable,” Mullin he added. "The bar’s real high, there’s no question about it."

Of course, there are no high crimes or misdemeanors to find, even before Joe Biden was president. Mullin is indicating his reluctance to impeach while still playing along with the nonsensical "Biden Crime Family" narrative.

Either way you slice it though, Mullin's remarks are bad news for those Republicans hoping to impeach to Biden.

Jen Psaki didn’t mince words in her response to Trump, stating that, “it’s just another one of Trump’s crazy, unhinged rants.”

But she didn’t stop there, declaring that Trump “also talked about himself in the third person, which is always a red flag in my book — and he included his middle initial in that too."

After humiliating Trump, she finished her takedown with a chilling warning, declaring, “Trump is promising to resort to an authoritarian tactic should he become president again. Does the federal government have any role in the oversight of a cable news network? No they actually don't. But that's not the point here. What's important is that he's threatening to use the power of the government against media he believes is being critical of him. It's actually a threat to the free press. A threat to democracy. And that threat comes at a time when a record total of 533 journalists are currently detained worldwide. A large number of them are being held by the sorts of authoritarian regimes that Trump envisions creating here at home."

Sadly, Jen Psaki couldn’t be more right. Indicted criminal Donald Trump fancies himself king of America, and if he manages to stay out of prison is somehow re-elected in 2024, his fascist, authoritarian plans just may come to life.
