After a clean the VR woven details start to define both the form and process. A crafted process without physical touch. Looking to expand my network with new body of research across a spectrum of companies such as Lalique (opalescent glass) and @Meta
First test of using Virtual Reality as a mark making tool for glass making. Through copying the actions of knitting and weaving in a Virtual environment, the new physical, the form is 3D printed and then invested for Lost PLA casting. Embracing new tools to challenge craft
How can AI be used as a ‘craft’ tool rather than a threat to traditional creativity? The beginnings of a new body of work that will straddle both the physical and digital. #stablediffusion#midjourney#phygital#craft#making#design
I have my favorite art piece on my arm now - Original Photo taken at Corning Glass Museum by me :), the artist of the glass work is Geoffrey Mann. Tattoo done by Krist XW at Mellow Madness ✨
