@DriveSafeHR When slowing down using the throttle and someone is close behind, consider pressing gently on the rear brake pedal; even if you aren't braking it informs the driver behind, thus helping to maintain your safety bubble.
@ABTransComm Completely agree; as you head out for a ride imagine you are holding 2 keys, one for the bike & the other for your brain. Until you switch off the ignition you can't switch off your brain.
@carltonkirby Hello Carlton,
As always enjoying your commentary.
The albatrosses (albatrossi?) & polar bears are conspicuous by their absence; I was hoping, however, to see a bull or two on a hill. Where are they all?
Great ride with my associate this morning, top quality.
Nice mid-ride snack at the Pathfinder cafe & headed back.
Then the monsoon hit! We both got soaked through; associate coped so well with the conditions, definitely ready for cross-check & on to the test. Well done!
@NorthamptonIAM@NextbaseUK@IAMRoadSmart If this happened in front of me, I would aim my bike at where they had come from, not to where they are heading; a greater chance of missing them.
@ABTransComm@ABTransComm I always tell my trainees they have 2 keys when approaching their bike; one for the ignition, the other for their brain. Don't switch off the brain until you switch off the bike.
