A resident has accused officials at the INEC office in Onitsha South LGA of demanding ₦2,000 from applicants before processing and issuing their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

According to his account, when one applicant insisted that PVCs are issued free of charge and attempted to record the interaction, a heated argument allegedly followed.
