@LizBPattison In all honesty it’s something I’ve always tried to promote. As you say, lockdown has forced the powers that be to confront the patterns.

@LizBPattison Certainly working towards one. Lockdown highlighted huge gaps in students ability to self regulate. Particularly amongst the disadvantaged. Looking forward to hear him speak about change management too.

We’ve just sent out the results of our September 2020 Year 7 writing assessment to school. Key findings: Year 7s are 22 months behind where we’d expect them to be at this time in the year.

My daughter’s Year 7 Science teacher puts up a science related joke on the board every lesson and then pretends they haven’t. This week a stand out was ‘Let me tell you all about sodium. Na! I can’t be bothered.’ That’s the wholesome teaching content I’m here for.
