We'd like to invite you to attend SatCamp in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, from October 1 to 3, 2024. Because of its unique nature, space is very limited. There are still a few spots left that include accommodations. https://t.co/v3Bj2xSllS
Happy 20th Birthday OpenStreetMap!
"OpenStreetMap has grown exponentially or quadratically over the last twenty years depending on the metric you’re interested in . . . The story isn’t so much about the data and technology, and it never was. It’s the people. " --@stevec, reflecting on 20 years of OSM

Couple of blog posts talking a bit about what I've been upto / into this year: https://t.co/xJqIorIPSO https://t.co/wqNb9OskSn - it's been super fulfilling work and I'm very grateful to work with all the wonderful, passionate people that I get to work with :-)
I love how @JuliaAngwin connects the personal problems of everyday navigation with the compromised values of technology infrastructure development in our society https://t.co/KmlV8uK1wX
@JuliaAngwin, in an op/ed for today's @nytimes, makes a compelling case for the importance of OpenStreetMap to a safer, more beautiful world. 🧵

Great to see Ola's @openstreetmap adoption over the years finally in production. Congratulations @osm_in! I hope Ola can acknowledge that they are standing on the shoulders of giants. Looks like the APIs use @OpenMapTiles@pelias_geocoder and @ProjectOSRM, along with @Mapbox!
After Azure exit last month, we’ve now fully exited google maps. We used to spend ₹100 cr a year but we’ve made that 0 this month by moving completely to our in house Ola maps! Check your Ola app and update if needed 😉
Also, Ola maps API available on @Krutrim cloud! Many more features coming soon - street view, NERFs, indoor images, 3D maps, drone maps etc!
Wonderful to read more about Ola's new mapping infrastructure. Clearly underscores @openstreetmap and open source geospatial software as public infrastructure. Excited for @osm_in to collaborate with others like @MapmyIndia. https://t.co/ScXPsarVfP
