@nt_stevens Google Sites is my choice. You can purely focus on the content and zero backend programming and maintenance. You can link a customized domain to your site as well.
The countertop in the lab is a little bit chaotic today. Working on solutions to wirelessly communicate the soil climate data back from our field stations with cellular modules from @CampbellSci
@LiquidTextCorp Adding images to the notes directly instead of adding them separately as PDFs. By the way, adding iPhone photos to the project can increase the file size of the project by quite a bit.
@jscheingross @paperpile I recently stumbled into @LiquidTextCorp , which allows you to take notes within context and establish links among your notes, basically you can visualize your thought process in it better than other apps I know. It is potentially a game changer for note taking apps.
@SarahAarons I drove through there earlier this summer. Haha, I took a photo at a pullout perhaps a bit closer to the mesas than where you took the photo.
That is a major artery to the west. I drove through the Glenwood Canyon twice on I70. Each time I chose to spend a hour or so at the Grizzly Creek rest area. Enjoying the view and sound of the roaring Colorado river through the canyon was very refreshing after a long day driving.
These photos, just posted by Gov. Jared Polis, show the situation on I-70, which remains closed. The Gov. posted that he is getting ready to issue a state disaster declaration. A news conference with CDOT is coming up shortly
My advisor and I reached an undeclared agreement to not use google docs for editing manuscript. Perhaps we both want some privacy while doing editing๐

@rachel_breunig You did a good job! As you have seen, I sometimes ran out of time when leading a much shorter paper, that usually happens when I am excited about something in the paper๐ค
I really like this story about the mixed feelings of being bilingual of a Japanese immigrant told by โฆ@ShizukaLabโฉ on โฆ@storycolliderโฉ https://t.co/JGqsGh5G4C
The mailbox at my residence is inundated with unsolicited promotional stuff from local and online business. They greatly dilute the useful mails. I recently tossed my nonreplaceable state park sticker buried within those spam mails into recycle. I knew it would happen some day.
@rachel_breunig And it is also convenient to share your drawing pad as a virtual whiteboard in a zoom meeting. I have been using it for quite some time.
