New plants are very expensive and is the highest cost for new electricity.
That is why so few are being built.
Also Georgia energy demand seems to have decreased over last decade so maybe explains why costs are down, due to oversupply.

The numbers quoted are for new plants and nuclear is the most expensive new source option.
Also need to consider time difference.

@smith83050 @EdKrassen @MicheleBeLove Not sure how it works in the USA but in Australia you need a base level of evidence before you can go to a full blown trial. There needs to be a case to be heard.
If nothing went to trial I can only assume there was no case.
